Through evaluation it is possible to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of a course of study. The information context on university courses is very broad and articulated. Below are three different surveys that express the opinions of students on teaching activities, of undergraduates on the training process and of graduates on their placement in the world of work after obtaining their degree.

Evaluation of graduates of the Degree Courses in Geological Hazards and Environmental Sustainability

The Employment Condition of Graduates, on the other hand, monitors the job placement of graduates, up to the first five years after graduation and is a very useful tool for assessing the effectiveness of the university system and measuring the appreciation of the world of work towards graduates. For the moment, data are based on the Geology Bachelor for which there is a complete record.

The degree course in Geological Sciences does not have a limited number of students. An adequate initial preparation is required: for each path, the knowledge that the student is deemed to necessarily possess to enrol and to profitably follow the course of study is defined. The verification takes place with the self-assessment test, which is mandatory, but not binding for enrolment purposes. Following this test, additional training obligations (OFA) may be indicated.
